Assam Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma arrives in Agartala

Sarma said that in Assam the BJP will form the government and predicted that BJP will get the same number of seats as last time.

Ahead of the election results day in the Autonomous District Council Election in Tripura, Assam Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday arrived in Agartala. 

Upon his arrival, he went to Mata Tripurasundari temple at Udaipur and sought blessings from the Goddess Kali and prayed for an excellent result of Bharatiya Janata Party in the election. 

Sarma said that in Assam the BJP will form the government and predicted that BJP will get the same number of seats as last time.

It may be mentioned that in the last Assembly election, BJP got 84 seats in Assam.

Tripura MP Pratima Bhowmik and BJP state secretary Rajib Bhattacharjee accompanied the North-East Democratic Alliance convenor.
