Sikkim Governor donates over Rs 1 lakh for construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya

GANGTOK:

The Governor of Sikkim, Ganga Prasad on January 14 donated Rs 1,01,000 to Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.

The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra has announced a mass contact and contribution campaign for the construction of the temple, which began on Friday and will continue till February 27.

A state-level representative committee of the trust met the Governor at Raj Bhavan on Thursday concerning the construction of Ram temple.
