Sikkim | Bollywood actor Priyanka & Sanjay Dutt to visit Sikkim in December

GANGTOK | September 3, 2018:

Famous Bollywood actor, Priyanka Chopra would be visiting Sikkim on December 6 for the promotion of the Nepali feature film 'Pahuna,' produced by her production house Purple Pebble Pictures.

The film was exclusively shot in Sikkim and has already won accolades in various national and international film festivals.

Tourism minister Ugen T. Gyatso Bhutia, announcing Chopra's visit before a gathering at Saramsa informed that Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who was earlier scheduled to visit Sikkim during the Red Panda Winter Carnival, will now visit the State around Christmas later this year. Dutt would sensitize the youth about harmful effects of drug abuse and youth empowerment.

Chief Minister of Sikkim, Pawan Chamling had last month shared that the Sikkim government has approached Sanjay Dutt to be the brand ambassador in the State government's campaign against drug abuse.
