Lockdown in Sikkim extended till June 14

GANGTOK:
The Sikkim Government on Sunday extended the state-wide lockdown till 5 am on June 14, with certain relaxations.
The Government has put in place various relaxations concerning the opening of shops (both essential and non-essential), office attendance, etc.
The revised timing for the opening of vegetable and ration shops will now be from 7 am to 2 pm.
Besides ration shops, hardware shops have also been permitted to open from 7 am to 2 pm.
Meanwhile, the government also informed that 65,000 people between the age group 18-44 will be vaccinated in June, and the vaccination process for which will begin at the earliest at designated health facilities throughout the state.
