Nagaland: Seven houses sealed in Mokokchung's Kumlong & Mongsenbai

Mokokchung Deputy Commissioner Limawabang Jamir has ordered the sealing of seven houses within the town till further orders, following the demise of a 74-year-old woman due to COVID-19 on Saturday.

Six houses, numbered 321, 246 (ABC), 225, 296 (Block 3), 222 (A/B) and 340, are in Kumlong Ward, while one is House No. 54 in Mongsenbai. 

The DC also advised the public to follow all safety precautions like wearing a mask all the time, frequent washing of hands and maintaining social and physical distances to ensure public and personal safety within the proximity of the demarcated area. 

He cautioned that failure to comply with the guideline would attract penalisation.
