Nagaland police, security forces bust illegal NSCN-IM camp, four arrested

The Nagaland Police and the Security Forces destroyed an illegal camp of the NSCN-IM and, arrested four cadres along the Assam-Nagaland border.
According to reports, the forces acted upon specific inputs that they received and launched a joint operation at Menkirong under Wokha District, Nagaland and busted the illegal camp.
The troops recovered four AK Rifles, one M -16 Rifle, one 9 mm pistol with three rounds of ammunition, 446 live rounds of 7.62 mm, 12 pouches and six pairs of military uniforms from the possession of the nabbed 'militants'.
The apprehended cadres and the recovered items were later handed over to Bhandari Police Station for further investigation.
