Nagaland govt announces fourth phase of unlocking from August 1

The Nagaland Government has announced the fourth phase of unlocking starting from Sunday with further relaxations in economic activities.

The decision for Unlock-4 from August 1-18 was taken during a meeting of the High Powered Committee on COVID-19 headed by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, an official said.

Under the revised guidelines, the government has extended the time for the opening of shops to 12 hours from 6 am to 6 pm. Earlier the shops were permitted to open till 4 pm.

In addition to that, the government has also permitted bus transport services for both government and private vehicles with 50 per cent capacity.

Respective COVID-19 district task forces have been entrusted with laying down the standard operating procedures for unlocking under phase four.
