Nagaland CM congratulates Sentila T. Yanger on being featured in ‘Women Achievers’ report

Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio congratulated Sentila T. Yanger, founder of Tribal Weave, on being featured in the ‘Women Achievers’ report released by the Ministry of Women and Child Development on the occasion of International Women’s Day on March 8.

“Yanger has notably mobilised women’s craft artisans and weaver groups in training, product development, marketing support and formation of Self-help groups,” Rio said.

Rio expressed hope that Yanger will continue to inspire and impact lives.

Yanger is a social entrepreneur, culture curator, Naga textile specialist, and craft revivalist based in Dimapur.

She is also a recipient of the Padma Shri Award.
