Foundation stone for Medical College in Nagaland to be laid on Feb 26

KOHIMA:

Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dr Harsh Vardhan will lay the foundation stone for the Medical College at the District Hospital in Mon, Nagaland, on February 26.

Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom had, in September last year, informed about the approval and sanctioning of the new Government Medical College in Nagaland by upgrading the District Hospital, Mon.

The Nagaland Government also signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India for the establishment of a new Medical College at Mon district on September 15, last year.
