Mizoram: Tribal art and craft festival begins in Aizawl
The four-day festival will showcase the works of painters, weavers and other local artisans from Mizoram.
As a part of the ongoing Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, a four-day Tribal Art and Craft Festival festival organised by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, in collaboration with Mizoram Social Welfare & Tribal Affairs Department started here at Mc Cabe Hall in Aizawl on December 8.
The event was inaugurated by Minister of State, Social Welfare & Tribal Affairs Department, Dr K Bechhua.
The four-day festival will showcase the works of painters, weavers and other local artisans from Mizoram.
During these four days of the festival, the items on display will be available for purchase and the venue will be opened to visitors from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm.
