Mizoram to provide Rs 20 lakh to family of volunteers who die from COVID
No COVID-19 fatality has been reported among VLTF and LLTF members in Mizoram so far.

Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga, on April 6, approved the proposal to provide ex-gratia payment of Rs 20 lakh to the family of a village-level task force (VLTF) or local level task force (LLTF) member, who dies of coronavirus in the line of duty.
No COVID-19 fatality has been reported among VLTF and LLTF members in Mizoram so far.
VLTF is engaged in villages and LLTF functions in towns to contain the spread of COVID-19.
These voluntary task forces have been of immense help to the state government in curbing the spread of coronavirus, an official said.
