Mizoram Govt distributes desktop computers to 71 schools
Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Pu Robert Romawia Royte, distributed seven Desktop Computer Sets, four UPS and one Printer each to 71 selected schools at a function held at Vanapa Hall, Aizawl in Mizoram on April 8.
537 computer sets and accessories were handed out under the “IT Education programme for 150 Schools in Mizoram” project.
The project costs ₹ 600 lakh, funded by the North Eastern Council, Ministry of DONeR.
Out of the 150 selected schools, ICT Department’s Mizoram State e-Governance Society (MSeGS), which is the implementing agency, had already distributed computer sets to 45 schools last year.
