Heroin worth ₹ 41 lakh seized in Mizoram

Heroin worth about ₹ 41 lakh and a drug peddler was apprehended in Aizawl, Mizoram, Assam Rifles sources said on March 11.

Personnel of the security forces seized 91 grams of heroin in Thuampui area in a joint operation with Mizoram Excise & Narcotics Department on March 10, he said.

The drug peddler was handed over to the department for further investigation and prosecution, he added.
