WKHDCA crowned Meghalaya Cricket Association’s U-19 Girls Inter District Tournament 2021 champs

WKH won the toss at Mawkadiang Play Ground and batted first and made 136 runs with the loss of 3 wickets.

NONGSTOIN:

West Khasi Hills District Cricket Association (WKHDCA) were crowned champions of the Meghalaya Cricket Association’s U-19 Girls Inter District Tournament 2021 with a 28-run victory in the final against Tura Cricket Association in Nongstoin on Monday.

WKH won the toss at Mawkadiang Play Ground and batted first and made 136 runs with the loss of 3 wickets. 

While chasing the target, Tura scored only 108 runs with the loss of 2 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

The chief guest of the day was Nongstoin MLA Macmillan Byrsat, including MCA Vice-President Dipul Ryntathiang, MCA Honorary Secretary Gideon Kharkongor among others.

Sanchi M Sangma of Tura Cricket Association was named the player of the series and promising player to Femysha Nongrumna of West Khasi Hills District Cricket Association.
