Archery and teer counters in Shillong will remain closed until May 3, following additional restrictions imposed by the State Government due to rising COVID-19 cases.


On Monday, East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner Isawanda Laloo issued an order stating that matches, tournaments, and all forms of contact sports would be suspended.


The order stated that strict action would be taken against any violation under the Meghalaya Epidemic Diseases, COVID-19 Regulations, 2020.
