Meghalaya: Ri-Bhoi district administration sets up ‘War Rooms’ to intensify fight against COVID
The Deputy Commissioner, Ri Bhoi District has informed that additional information centres known as War Rooms or Control Rooms have been set up at the District and Block levels, where at Block levels these centres will function under the Block Development Officer/ Incident Commander.
These centres will ensure prompt and effective response to any Covid-19 related requirement of the public especially for reporting cases with symptoms, vaccination drive etc. therefore, all citizens of the District are requested to contact the War Rooms/Control Rooms in their respective Blocks for any Covid-19 related help.
These centres include; District Control Room No. 6009906348 at DC’s Office Nongpoh, Health Helpline No 8787520449 at DMHO’s Office, Nongpoh, BDO’s Office C&D Block Umsning at 7085288659, BDO’s Office C&D Block Umling at 9362548336, BDO’s Office C&RD Block Jirang at 9362548554 and BDO’s Office C&D Block Bhoirymbong at 9362548978.
