Meghalaya: Ri-Bhoi District Administration issues orders related to COVID-19 vaccination
The Ri-Bhoi district administration on Friday has asked all government officials and staff of the district to get themselves vaccinated or else they will have to produce an RT-PCR test every 10 days.
Deputy Commissioner RM Kurbah, issued the order, in view of the surging cases and deaths within Ri-Bhoi district as many of the government officials and staff in the district have not been vaccinated.
It may be noted that the Deputy Commissioner has ordered officials, staff, ASHAs and AWWs to get themselves vaccinated and those unvaccinated, must produce RT-PCR testing certificate every 10 days and the test is to be borne by the staff concern.
All shopkeepers may open their shops only after vaccination, drivers being Frontline Workers are also not allowed to ply without vaccination and teachers of all educational institutions should vaccinate themselves as they are in contact with school children.
