Meghalaya: Vidyalaya Management Committee holds meeting with East Garo Hills DC

WILLIAMNAGAR:

The Vidyalaya Management Committee of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Williamnagar, held a meeting under the chairmanship of East Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner Swapnil Tembe at the Vidyalaya premises on January 19.

The meeting discussed several issues relating to Vidyalaya like renovation of the building, boundary walls, construction of approach, water supply, students’ safety, career counselling, lack of internet services, lack of attendance in online classes and others.

While apprising the committee members, principal K.K Mishra requested the DC to look into the matter and take up the issues with the concerned authorities.

While assuring them he would look into the matter, the DC also asked the principal to convene a meeting with the local MLA to apprise him of the problems faced by the students.
