Meghalaya reports another COVID death, 121 new cases detected 

There are a total of 12 new recoveries.

SHILLONG: 

Meghalaya reported another COVID death and 121 new cases on Friday, with the highest being reported from the East Khasi Hills district. 

One death was reported from East Khasi Hills. 

Meanwhile, after a brief lull, Garo Hills reported three COVID positive cases, two from West Garo Hills and one from North Garo Hills.

East Jaintia Hills: 05 (Returnee – 04, ILI Cases – 01)
East Khasi Hills: 80 (Returnee – 29, Armed Forces/Paramilitary Forces – 06, Health Worker – 02, High Risk – 22, Lumdiengsoh Cluster – 03, Mawlai Cluster – 01, Nongthymmai Cluster – 01, ILI cases- 04, SARI cases-04, Polo Cluster – 01, Screening Purpose – 07)
North Garo Hills: 01 (Returnee)
Ri-Bhoi: 05 (Health Worker – 03, Police – 02)
South West Khasi Hills -2 (returnees)
West Garo Hills: 02 (Screening Purposes) 
West Jaintia Hills: 26 (High Risk).
