Meghalaya: Renowned sociologist A.K. Nongkynrih passes away

SHILLONG:

Professor A.K. Nongkynrih from the Department of Sociology, North Eastern Hills University (NEHU), passed away on February 20 at Bethany Hospital, Shillong.

He was a renowned writer, having authored several books, including 'A study on Equity and Customary Forest Management in Meghalaya' and 'Khasi Society of Meghalaya: A Sociology Understanding'.
