The Achik Youth Welfare Organization (AYWO) has sought the installation of Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) by the State Bank of India and the Meghalaya Rural Bank (MRB) to ease the problems of the people of the region.

Members of AYWO recently met the bank officials of the two banks and submitted a memorandum seeking the installation.

“We met the officials on March 9 and apprised them to set up the ATMs as this would go a long way to ease the problems being faced by the people of the area,” said regional unit president, Malseng Marak.
