NONGPOH:

A young person who recovered a gold chain worth over two lakh rupees has come forward to publicise his recovery, which has been misplaced or lost by any rightful owner.

The person who found the gold chain is identified as Aristone Ryndongsngi, a resident of Iewmawlong in Nongpoh.

Aristone is also a member of the Ri Bhoi Youth Federation.

Informing about his recovery, Aristone Ryndongsngi said that he spotted the gold chain on March 14 lying on the ground at the service lane opposite the Woodland Dhaba Mawdiangum near the Ri Bhoi Presbyterian Higher Secondary School.

According to Ryndongsngi's assessment, the chain might be worth over 2 lakh rupees.

“Once I had also faced the situation, a few years back when I lost my backpack which contained money of 80 thousand rupees, but a few days later the person who found my bag returned it to me along with the money, so this time, on my recovery of the gold chain, I think this is the chance to repay the good thing which had happened to me so that the rightful owner can get back his lost property,” Ryndongsngi said.

Anyone who has misplaced the gold chain can contact Ryndongsngi at his contact number 8794258513.
