SHILLONG:

According to police sources, Shylla (38) is a resident of Ksehrynchang under Nartiang Police Station (PS) in the West Jaintia Hills district. He was arrested from his residence by Shillong police, assisted by Nartiang PS.

Shylla had recently posted a derogatory remark, targeting the DC, on Facebook over the instruction issued by her regarding vaccination.

Recently, Laloo had issued a notification asking all shopkeepers to get themselves vaccinated, failing of which they wouldn’t be allowed to open their shops.

This direction did not end well with a section of the people who felt that this amounts to “forced vaccination”.
