Meghalaya: Hima Myriaw Syiemship Durbar felicitates newly elected chief in West Khasi Hills

The Durbar of the Hima Myriaw Syiemship felicitated the newly elected Chief (Syiem) of the Hima Myriaw Kyntiewbiang Shangoi Syiem on March 9 at Nongkasen village.

Chief Executive Member of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council Titos Chyne attended the programme as the chief guest and Jambor War, local MDC of Mawthadraishan Constituency as the guest of honour.

Chief guest Titos Chyne also handed over the Sanad to the newly elected Syiem of the Hima.

Addressing the gathering, the KHADC CEM said that the Hima Myriaw will have proper governance under the leadership of Paiem Kyntiewbiang Shangoi Syiem as the head of the Hima.

The programme was also attended by Victor Ranee MDC, Grace Mary Kharpuri MDC among others.
