Meghalaya government gives Rs 2 per litre relief on petrol, diesel

SHILLONG

The Government of Meghalaya today reviewed the situation of increased prices of petrol and diesel.

The state government has offered a rebate of Rs 2 per litre from the tax component of the Retail Sale Price of Petrol and Diesel, which will be effective from midnight of February 8.

This is being done to maintain the price difference with neighbouring Assam and also offer relief to consumers within the State.
