Meghalaya CS reviews centrally sponsored schemes in West Khasi Hills

NONGSTOIN: Meghalaya Chief Secretary M.S. Rao, IAS accompanied by the Director Community and Rural Development (C&RD) S.C. Sadhu, IAS, Joint secretary Disaster Management and other top officials visited West Khasi Hills District on February 15.

The visit was to take stock of the various Centrally Sponsored Schemes implemented in West and South West Khasi Hills District namely the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), One Nation One Card, Status of Aadhaar Enrollment, Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana - Gramin (PMAY-G) - District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana- Urban (PMAY-U), Digital Connectivity and Land Acquisition Status.

The meeting which was held at the Conference Hall, Deputy Commissioner’s office at Nongstoin also saw the presence of West and South West Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner T. Lyngwa, and C. Kharkongor, Project Director, DRDA West and South West Khasi Hills, BDOs and officers from the Line Department.
