Meghalaya reports nine more COVID-19 positive cases

Meghalaya reported nine more positive cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, taking the total number of active cases in the state to 104.

According to the health bulletin, all nine cases were detected in East Khasi Hills with four returnees, three (influenza-like illness) ILI cases, one high-risk case and one case detected during screening.

Director of DHS (MI) Dr Aman War said that four cases were detected in North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU). The active patients had recently arrived from Mumbai. 

It may be mentioned that there were also four new recoveries, taking the total number of recoveries to 13881.
