SHILLONG:

It seems the Meghalaya government is keeping the people of the state in a dilemma regarding the visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Confusion prevailed when the Health Minister Alexander Laloo Hek informed that Home Minister Amit Shah will probably visit the state in the second week of July.

However, a section of the media waited for Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma to get details of Shah’s visit, Sangma who was on the phone and unwilling to speak much said, “No confirmation yet.”

“We don’t know the purpose of his coming but his arrival to Meghalaya is sure,” Hek told reporters later.

Hek said that there are many things to discuss like strengthening the party organization in the state and other issues.

“If we meet him, definitely all the pending issues will be taken up,” Hek added.
