Union Minister Nitin Gadkari lays foundation of 16 NH projects in Manipur

IMPHAL:

Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, along with Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh, inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of sixteen National Highways Projects during an event held at the state capital of Imphal on Monday. 

The estimated cost of the National Highway projects is Rs 4148 crore and has a total length of 298 kilometres.

Among the national highway projects inaugurated is the Makru RCC Steel Superstructure Bridge constructed along the National Highways 37 (Imphal-Jiribam Road), which has become the lifeline of Manipur.
