Sikh community of Manipur extends support during lockdown

Lauding the efforts of the Sikh Committee in mitigating the hardships of the people during such critical times, Chief Minister N Biren Singh said that the community which is driven by the idea of 'Seva' have always stood for various causes.

Extending its support to the Manipur government COVID relief measures, the Gurudwara Parbhandhak Committee of Imphal has contributed a sum of Rs 1.25 lakh and other relief materials to the Chief Minister's COVID Relief Fund.

Lauding the efforts of the Sikh Committee in mitigating the hardships of the people during such critical times, Chief Minister N Biren Singh said that the community which is driven by the idea of 'Seva' has always stood for various causes.

Singh took to Twitter to thank the community who have been relentlessly working to serve the community at such trying times.

"I’m grateful to Gurudwara Parbhandhak Committee, Imphal for your contribution of a sum of Rs 1.25 Lakh & other relief materials to CM’s COVID Relief Fund. Driven by the idea of ‘Seva’, the Sikh community of Manipur has extended every possible assistance during this pandemic," Singh said over a tweet.
