Narcotics worth ₹66 lakh recovered in Manipur

IMPHAL:
The Assam Rifles, on January 11, intercepted a bus at a check post established at Singhat in Manipur and recovered 330 grams of Brown Sugar.
The contraband substances were concealed and hidden inside a vegetable sack in 22 soap cases.
According to sources, the cost of the narcotics seized is estimated to be nearly ₹ 66 lakh.
The seized contraband items were handed over to Singhat Police Station (PS) for further investigation and legal action.
