Renowned cyclist Philem Rohan Singh from Manipur is ready to embark on a new cycling mission that will cover the golden quadrilateral of India, i.e. Kolkata-Chennai-Mumbai-Delhi and back to Kolkata.

Singh will cover a total distance of 5,000 kilometres during the journey which also includes a mission to feed the needy people.

Former Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Bhattacharya flagged off the cycling campaign on February 5 at Manipur Bhavan in Kolkata.

With the slogan “Feeding The Hungry”, the one of a kind cycling campaign started by Singh is all about raising awareness as he and his team reportedly fed 50 to 70 people daily during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Through cycling, we want to convey a message of social service towards humanity, Singh said.

Singh had already covered a distance of 14,500 km across the country on a bicycle, riding for various causes.

Besides this, Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh assured all possible help to make the campaign a success.
