Manipur to construct world’s tallest pier bridge
The length of the bridge will be 703 meters, with a height of 141 meters.

IMPHAL:
Manipur will construct the world’s tallest pier bridge across the Ijai river at an estimated cost of Rs 280 crore, sources said.
The length of the bridge will be 703 meters, with a height of 141 meters.
“The construction will be completed in March 2022 and will provide better connectivity to the Northeast region,” read a statement issued by the North Eastern Council.
