Manipur: KCP (N) insurgent arrested in Imphal 



The Assam Rifles unit and the Thoubal Commando team apprehended a KCP (N) insurgent from Imphal East District on Monday.

Acting on a tip-off, the team conducted random checking near the waiting shed of Langthabal village on NH‐102 and during the search operation arrested the individual.

Upon interrogation, the person identified himself as Huidrom Nongpokngakpa Singh (21) and confessed to being an active member of KCP (N) since 2017.

The security team informed that he had received 90-days of training in Hanching, Myanmar under army no 528.

The person was later handed over to the Khongjom Police Station for further necessary legal action.
