Manipur CM holds COVID review meeting with MPs and MLAs

During the meeting, Singh deliberated on issues pertaining to essential medical supplies and relief work carried across the state to mitigate the hardships faced by the people.

IMPHAL:

Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh, on Friday, held a meeting with MPs and ruling MLAs to discuss the steps to further intensify the state's fight against the COVID pandemic.

During the meeting, Singh deliberated on issues pertaining to essential medical supplies and relief work carried across the state to mitigate the hardships faced by the people.

The Chief Minister also discussed ensuring a sufficient supply of oxygen in the state and intensifying the vaccination drive to contain the virus.

Manipur Government had earlier extended curfew restrictions as preventive measures till June 30, and also eased restrictions on commercial activities.
