DESAM lock up offices of secretary and controller of examination of BOSEM in Manipur

The Democratic Students Alliance of Manipur (DESAM), on Wednesday, locked the office of the Secretary and Controller of Examination of Board of Secondary Education (BOSEM), Manipur.

The action was taken against the failure of the state government to fill up the vacant posts in BOSEM which have remained vacant since December 28, 2020.

In a press release issued by Leishangthem Lamyanba, Secretary General, DESAM, read, “It was due to the vacant posts that the certificates have been delayed for many students, as there is no person(s) to sign on them.”

The release further stated that despite repeated appeals by DESAM to fill up the said posts, the authorities have taken no action as yet.
