Arms and ammunition seized near India- Myanmar border in Manipur 

The recovered items have been handed over to the Moreh police station for appropriate legal action, the officials further added to their statement.

IMPHAL:

Assam Rifles (AR) troops have seized arms and ammunition from Moreh town in Manipur near the India-Myanmar border, the paramilitary force said on Monday.

In one of the many search operations conducted in Manipur’s Tengnoupla district on Saturday, the Assam Rifles troops seized one assault rifle with magazine, ammunition and two Chinese-made hand grenades from a nearby house, officials said in a statement. 

The recovered items have been handed over to the Moreh police station for appropriate legal action, the officials further added to their statement.
