Manipur University gets new Chancellor

IMPHAL:

The President of India, on March 24, appointed Prof. T. Tirupati Rao as the Chancellor of Manipur University for the next five-year term.

Rao is a former Vice-Chancellor of Osmania University in Hyderabad and a well-known social scientist.

Manipur University is a Central University in Imphal. It has 86 affiliated colleges and one constituent college, Manipur Institute of Technology.
