Migrant worker from Assam killed in Andhra Pradesh

GUWAHATI:

A worker, from Assam, was killed after a wall collapsed near Madhuranagar railway station in Andhra Pradesh on March 10.

According to the locals, the victim was a native of Assam and was engaged for work by the contractors.

After being informed, the police rushed to the spot.

Activists of Communist Party of India (Marxist), led by city unit secretary Ch. Babu Rao and the residents demanded that the contractor pay compensation to the victim’s family members.
