DIBRUGARH:

The Marwari Natiya Samity has taken an initiative ‘Apni Rasoi’ to provide free vegetarian food to Covid patients and families who are under home isolation.

The process will begin on May 7 in Dibrugarh.

This initiative was undertaken by the Marwari Natiya Samity last year during the Covid-19 crisis.

“This initiative was started last year, and it had helped the Covid patients and those who were under home isolation. After the heavy surge of Covid-19 positive cases in Dibrugarh, we have decided to carry out the same programme to help people who are in need,” informed Kailash Bagaria, president of Marwari Natya Samiti.

He said, “To avail this service an online form should be submitted to us. From May 7, we will start the programme. We have volunteers who will deliver the food to the families who are under home isolation.”

Bagaria said, “During this crisis we should help one another and we can do a bit by helping the society. We should stand together during this pandemic time.”
