BSF seizes 915 Yaba tablets near Indo-Bangladesh border in Assam

GUWAHATI:

Troops of the Border Security Force (Guwahati frontier) on February 11 foiled an attempt of narcotics smuggling at the Indo-Bangladesh border and seized 915 Yaba tablets.

Acting on a tip-off, BSF troops of Border Out Post (BOP) Sadartilla of 06 Bn conducted a search operation in the general area of Sadartilla village in Assam's South Salmara district and seized 915 Yaba Tablets.

The consignment was being smuggled from India to Bangladesh.

The seized narcotics have been handed to Mankachar police station for further investigation.
