Assam: Pijush Hazarika takes stock of Covid vaccination centre in Dibrugarh

Hazarika interacted with the beneficiaries and encouraged them to come forward and get vaccinated in large numbers. He also interacted with the paramedics on duty and thanked them for their untiring effort.

DIBRUGARH:

Assam Cabinet Minister Pijush Hazarika visited the Arogya Udyan Covid Vaccination Center at Marwari Arogya Bhawan Hospital, Dibrugarh on Wednesday.

Hazarika interacted with the beneficiaries and encouraged them to come forward and get vaccinated in large numbers. He also interacted with the paramedics on duty and thanked them for their untiring effort.

The minister praised the entire team at the facility for their dedication and service to humanity. He also appreciated the clean, hygienic and people-friendly environment in the vaccination centre.

Dibrugarh MLA Prashanta Phukan, Lahoal MLA Binod Hazarika, Former Lahoal MLA Rituparna Baruah, DC, Dibrugarh Pallav Gopal Jha, DDA Chairman Ashim Hazarika were among the others who accompanied Pijush.

Notably, the Arogya Udyan centre has so far vaccinated more than 20,000 people.
