Assam: Himanta greets Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal for his new role
Sarma extended his greetings to Sonowal for his new role as Union Minister of Ports, Shipping, Waterways and Ministry of AYUSH.
GUWAHATI:
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, on Thursday, called on Sarbananda Sonowal and extended his best wishes to the newly sworn-in Union Cabinet Minister.
Sarma extended his greetings to Sonowal for his new role as Union Minister of Ports, Shipping, Waterways and Ministry of AYUSH.
The Chief Minister stated that it was a matter of pride for every Assamese to witness someone from the state taking charge of so many portfolios.
Sarma further stated that Sonowal brings with him immense administrative experience and will be an asset to the Union Cabinet during his tenure.
