Assam: Dibrugarh Yoga expert wins first position at international championship
Nath won the championship in the senior category, which witnessed participation from across the world.
DIBRUGARH:
Pranab Kumar Nath, a Yoga expert from Dibrugarh has won the first position at the recently concluded 2nd International Yogasana Sports Championship held virtually on June 21.
Nath won the championship in the senior category, which witnessed participation from across the world.
The event was organised jointly by the International Youth Yoga Federation India and Om Shaptharishi Yoga of Malaysia.
Nath had earlier won the 9th Asian Yoga Sports Championship organised by the same organisations.
It may be noted that Nath as a Yoga exponent has been accorded with many laurels in the past. He is an Assistant Director of Akashvani and Doordarshan Dibrugarh under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
