DIBRUGARH:

Sri Marwari Natya Samity on Thursday opened a 126 bedded Covid Care centre at Jhalukpara in Dibrugarh.

District Development Commissioner Partha Pratim Bairagi inaugurated the 126 bedded Covid care centre in Dibrugarh.

“It is a wonderful step taken by the Marwari Natya Samity to open a Covid care centre. We will provide doctors and nurses in the Covid care centre,” Bairagi said.

The second wave of Covid-19 has affected the entire country and many people have died because of the infection.

“Last year at least 500 Covid positive patients have stayed in the centre during the first wave of Covid-19. This year, after the rising cases in Dibrugarh, we have thought to open the centre again,” said Kailash Bagaria, president of Sri Marwari Natya Samity.

Bagaria further added, “We will provide vegetarian food at the centre with all the facilities. Doctors and nurses will be provided by the district administration and the rest of the work will be done by us. We will also supply oxygen cylinders in our centre”.
