Bharat petroleum opens new oil depot in Arunachal’s Siribor 

The BPCL had set up the oil depot, keeping in mind the residents of both Assam and Arunachal Pradesh and the growing demand for more fuel depots in the area.

The Additional Commissioner of Ruksin, Tajing Jonnom, inaugurated Darang Petroleum, an oil depot under Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) at Siribor near Ruskin in Arunachal Pradesh on Saturday.

During the inauguration, Jonnom also advised BPCL and the proprietor of the new oil depot to maintain the quality of fuel.

Meanwhile, BPCL’s sales manager for the NE region, AK Shyam, said that new technology would be utilised, and the BPCL control room would detect any attempt to manipulate the fuel pumps in the new outlet.

A machine has also been fitted and will require an OTP to make any changes, Shyam said.
