Arunachal: Two IRBn jawans held for drug peddling

The police have retrieved contraband of 67.23 grams of heroin from their possession.

ITANAGAR: 

Two jawans of the Indian Reserve Battalion (IRBn) stationed at Pasighat in Arunachal Pradesh have been arrested for their active connection in drug peddling. 


The police have retrieved contraband of 67.23 grams of heroin from their possession. 


According to sources, a civilian was also operating along with the two jawans. 


The IRBn jawans, along with the civilian, have been handed over to Pasighat Police Station for further action. 


Meanwhile, placing them under immediate suspension, a departmental inquiry has also been initiated against the two jawans.
