Arunachal Pradesh: MDM Coordinator pays surprise visit to Govt School Yachuli

YACHULI:

Lower Subansiri District Mid-Day Meal (MDM) Coordinator Likha Kara on Monday paid a surprise visit to Government Secondary School Yachuli at Ziro-II in Arunachal Pradesh and ate meals with students.

“Teachers and parents should play a crucial role in instilling confidence among the students in achieving their goals,” Kara said while interacting with the teachers and students.

Government schools are not inferior to private schools in maintaining educational standards despite dilapidated infrastructure, he added.

The Coordinator further mentioned that the State government has allocated more funds in the budget for the education sector in accordance with this year's theme, “Year of Education”.

He also inspected the MDM Kitchen Sheds, along with BRC Coordinator Chukhu Epa and CRCCS of the concerned block, to review the implementation of MDM in the school.

Kara also urged the teachers to create awareness among the students on MDM programs.
