UEFA EURO 2020 update: Italy qualifies for knockout stages after beating Switzerland
Italy has advanced to the last 16 of the European Championship after beating Switzerland in a 3-0 match, on Thursday morning.
Italy is now the first team to make it to the Round of 16 of the football championship.

During the match, Italy's Manuel Locatelli was lauded for his successful goals for the first time in his career.
The star of the match scored two ''beautiful'' and ''important'' goals with a performance of real quality for Italy, according to UEFA Technical Observer Esteban Cambiasso.
Locatelli scored the goals for his country in the 26th and 52nd minutes of the match. The third goal came in the 89th minute after Ciro Immobile strikes from about 25 metres out.
Meanwhile, Italy will be playing against Wales in their next match, on Sunday.
As per the fixture, Ukraine will be playing against North Macedonia today, later in the evening.
