Tripura: Bamboo-wood made dressing room for cricketers soon
AGARTALA: Tripura bamboo-wood is now used to decorate cricketers' dressing room. The project was designed by a Mumbai-based Mutha Industries Private Limited.
When contacted, Tripura Cricket Association Secretary -Sourav Dasgupta said the initiative was taken to give the cricketers' a comfortable dressing room with facilities like massage room, dining hall, seating arrangement with lavatory.
"This is a unique kind of dressing room made of bamboo-wood. This is likely to be first of its kind in northeast and eastern India," Dasgupta said.
The two well-furnished rooms comprised of 44 seating arrangements with 22 seats each, dining table, massage room. Around Rs. 50 lakh was estimated for the project. Till now, almost 80 percent work was over leaving only construction of restaurant, three VIPs galleries and staircase. It is expected the entire work would be done by one month.
